Community Partnerships and Services to the
Community
The
Center works closely with other agencies to strengthen literacy education
in Illinois. The Center is part of the Illinois State Literacy
Resource Center, a federally supported consortium of state agencies that
provide literacy services, and the Illinois Literacy Council which is a
coalition of public and private agencies that work to increase the
availability and effectiveness of literacy education programs for
adults. The Center for Literacy has worked in partnership with or
