The workshop will cover the entire proposal lifecycle: researching the audience, organizing, writing and editing both as a response to a request for a proposal (RFPs) and in unsolicited format. You will focus on the range of options in solving a problem, being consistent with the organization's business objective and brand message, and complying with stylistic and legal standards. This four-week workshop will look at responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) you face in the course of your business. We will address specific RFPs you bring to class, and see how they can be better structured, better written and more imaginatively delivered.

The instructor will prepare responses specific to your work ahead of time, so that class time is maximized to discussing specific issues you have. The instructor will not deliver any extemporaneous responses that typically "eat-up" class time, but rather deliver prepared information specific to each participant.

This class welcomes "RFP problems" you have now. You will be provided with instructions to send RFPs or RFP issues to us prior to the first class so we can offer constructive information and advice applicable to you the first day.

This four-week workshop will undertake your RFPs to maximize your return on your investment in this class.

This workshop is designed for both the novice proposal writer and those with experience. You should expect to spend five hours a week on assignments. Enrollment is limited to 15.
