Bring your group to campus
The Office of Admissions offers Group Visits are for large groups of 10 to 50. These programs are ideal for college access programs, organizations, or high school classes.
If you are a prospective student looking to arrange a visit, please see Individual visits.
Group visits consist of an information session led by an admissions representative, followed by a student-led walking tour of campus. A typical group visit lasts about one and a half hours.
Please take the following guidelines into consideration as you plan your group's visit to UIC.
Our primary audience is prospective students. This includes high school aged students who are in the 9th-12th grades. Group visits are available for groups between 10-50. We are unable to accommodate groups larger than 50 due to the limited availability of staff and tour guides and our office’s commitment to providing each group with a quality experience.
Reservations are required for group visits and must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. Dates fill up very quickly. We encourage earlier reservations to better ensure that your group is able to come on your desired date and we are able to meet your group’s needs. If you need to cancel your visit, we ask for 48 hours’ notice (excluding weather related or unavoidable issues).
Group visits can be scheduled on Monday through Friday, excluding University holidays and some University breaks.
Unfortunately, because of the significant demand of group visits, we cannot accommodate groups of students below the 9th grade.
While groups may eat in the public eateries on campus, UIC is unable to provide food for visiting groups.
