ADMITTED STUDENT CHECKLIST
To get started, we’ve included this checklist to help you stay on track and take advantage of all UIC has to offer.
The portal account features UIC Connect and the Pathway to Enrollment which is an interactive, real-time tool that tracks your progress toward enrollment at UIC. Please use the below list for informational purposes only.
Establish your NetID and EnterpriseID
Accept or Decline your Offer
You have until the Intent to Enroll deadline of May 1 for first year students, or June 1 for transfer students, to accept or decline UIC’s offer of admission. Submit your ITE in the my.uic.edu portal.
Complete Placement Tests
Register for New Student Orientation
Apply for Financial Aid
The priority filing period is between January 1 and February 15 for major federal, state, and UIC grant and loan programs. UIC’s school code is 001776.
Apply for Housing
If you’re considering living on campus, plan to apply by March 15 for best choice options.
Tuition & Payment Options
Tuition will be assessed after the second week of classes and you will be notified in the my.uic.edu portal, and via email. There are several payment options. To allow a parent to view and make payments, students need to grant access to their account as an authorized payer.
