CIC Traveling Scholar Program

The University of Illinois at Chicago is a member of the Committee on Institutional Cooperation, an academic consortium of major research universities. The schools include those traditionally called The Big Ten plus UIC, the University of Chicago and the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.

The purpose of the CIC Traveling Scholar Program is to enable doctoral candidates at CIC universities to take advantage of special educational opportunities at other CIC campuses. If a course in a special area of interest is not offered by faculty in the student's area of interest this program allow the student to take approved course work at selected universities. The visit is limited to two semesters (three quarters).
