The Office of Academic Affairs is the administrative unit within the College of Business Administration responsible for the teaching and research missions in business administration and management information systems of the college.
The executive associate dean for Academic Affairs works with the academic department heads to ensure the highest quality placements in faculty recruitment and seeks methods to promote improved levels of external funding and research grants and directs the doctoral programs within the Liautaud Graduate School of Business.
The LGSB Programs Office in conjunction with the Office of Academic Affairs coordinates the college's curricular and research activities, student services for the LGSB doctoral programs, and have administrative responsibilities for recurring activities such as: processing sabbatical leave requests, annual faculty evaluations, and promotion and tenure papers; coordinating college and Senate elections, course scheduling, SIT evaluations; and organizing faculty meetings and the new faculty orientation.
