The Office of Academic Affairs is the administrative unit within the College of Business Administration responsible for the college's teaching and research missions, as well as the administration of the doctoral programs in business administration and management information systems.

The associate dean for Academic Affairs oversees all CBA academic programs, and works with the academic department heads to ensure the highest quality in faculty recruitment, evaluation and development.

The Office of Academic Affairs coordinates the college's curricular and research activities, as well as student services for the LGSB doctoral programs. It also has administrative responsibilities for recurring activities such as processing sabbatical leave requests, annual faculty evaluations, and promotion and tenure papers; coordinating college and Senate elections, course scheduling, SIT evaluations; and organizing faculty meetings and the new faculty orientation.
